Domain Name Transfer
Why Transfer Your Domains to Web4Africa?
Not only is Web4Africa accredited by the global domain industry co-ordinator Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the company is also accredited by Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), the registry for the .ng domain extension. Web4Africa complies with the highest standards in the global domain name industry.
Not a Reseller
Being an Accredited Registrar also means that Web4Africa can do business directly with the respective domain name registries. Not only does Web4Africa get the domain names at cost price (since there is no middleman), Web4Africa can also leverage its direct relationship with the registries into knowing and understanding the status and direction of every domain extension we sell.
Web4Africa passes the low-pricing to its customers and is hard to beat with pricing.
Web4Africa offers over 100 Top-Level and Country-Code Domains. You can consolidate your range of TLDs into a single panel with Web4Africa, considering we support a large number of extensions.
How to Transfer your Domains to Web4Africa
EPP Code: you need to retrieve the domain name’s EPP Code from your current provider. You would need this in the process of transferring the domain to Web4Africa. The EPP code has to be correct or the transfer would fail.
Unlock the Domain Name: if the domain name is locked, it has to be unlocked for the transfer to be successful.
Disable Privacy Protection: where Privacy Protection (also known as ID Protection or WHOIS Privacy) is enabled on the domain(s), you need to disable it. A Verification Email would need to be sent to the Admin Email of the domain, in other to confirm that the owner or manager of the domain expressly consents to the transfer.
With all of the above done, you can then order for domain transfer from this webpage. Depending on the domain extension, the transfer would take anything from a few seconds, to a few days, after payment - all things being equal.
